Having lived in Alaska for several years, we developed a wonderful love of fresh salmon. The health benefits of salmon are great and its an excellent protein. One of the herbs I was able to easily grow there that is a delicious pairing is dill. While I worked to grow it, it’s readily available in supermarkets right now and is fairly inexpensive. The following is a recipe to make your own creamy dill sauce. Wherever possible I use fresh organic and locally sourced ingredients. Dried spices may be substituted as needed.
